Our former ape in chief will be remembered for the "its so cool to have a black president!" meme rather than the fact that he made racial relations worse under his Presidency than any other president

Sad

...

I don't think it was really his fault, the president doesn't really have all that much control domestically especially when it comes to social attitudes and trends. It's not his fault he came to power during a time when radical leftists began to grow in their influence of social media and academia and caused more divisions between people to the point we see today.

Granted, he didn't do much to solve it or alleviate tense race relations but really it's not his fault that things have become the way there are.

There are a lot of factors outside of the presidents control you know, the US isn't a dictatorship

Sorry, but I am not American, keep your complains in /pol/, thanks.

>the only quoted statement is...
>we

Nice. Legit reporting.

>Says "Trayvon could have been his boy" not realising hes saying he'd raise a retarded thug
>Attacks police and defends Mike Brown
>Currently isn't speaking out at the riots over Trump

He definitely tried to make things worse

>For the purpose of determining what is history, please do not start threads about events taking place less than 25 years ago. Historical discussions should be focused on past events, and not their contemporary consequences. Discussion of modern politics, current events, popular culture, or other non-historical topics should be posted elsewhere.

This isn't /pol/ fuck off

>/pol/fag shilling his opinions
You have to go back

>I don't think it was really his fault,

Yes, it is 100% his fault.

He took advantage of every chance he could to interject his bullshit racist views to incite hate against the white majority.

From Treyvon Martin, to Baltimore riots, to BLM, he always expressed sympathy with thug ghetto black behavior instead of condemning it for being the criminal shit it is...

The U.S. had better race relations under Reagan.....and even G.W. Bush.

Obama was a 100% failure and set this nation back 50 years.

>get black president
>"cool that means it's ok to kill black people now!"

Really it was agreed that the trade-off for having a black president was that he did not talk about the black issues.

It is absolutely 100% legitimate to kill criminal blacks who behave in a threatening, violent or criminal manner, yes.

Please just fucking go away

>opinions
>not fact
Lol piss off

You keep using that word. I know for a fact that it does not mean what you think it means and that you are a faggot who should go back to your containment board.

Actually it isn't. The job of the police is to arrest criminals, not execute them. Regardless of race.

Just leave dude. You have a board to circle jerk about this shit.

If he just said that the fucking black boy should've been shot anyway then he would've incited even more hatred.

BLM was a response to the hate against black communities terrorized by the police. Much of the hate from the right against Obama was based on race, the fact that you see him as an ape proves it. There are legitimate criticisms to be made about Obama, such as NDAA, not shutting down Guantanamo like he said he would, deporting more immigrants than any other president in US history (ironically the right thinks hes weak in this area), the Fisa courts, going after whistleblowers like Assange, Snowden and Manning, expanding the wars to Yemen, Somalia, and Libya, his health care which is really Romney care and favors insurance companies more than anything, not pardoning based Leonard Peltier and Mumia, the drone and covert attacks against innocent people from groups like SOCOM, militarization of the police, trying to pass TTP and TTIP, and not giving a shit about the Dakota Access pipeline. If anything the right should adore Obama as he embodied much of what they love so much.

But instead all they did was chimpout and make issues out of nonissues like the birther movement, him bringing marxism and sharia law to the US which is absolutely ridiculous. If anything he is bringing us towards fascism and ironically he expanded his executive powers which are now being turned over to an authoritarian that may very well dissolve the republic and bring us a dictatorship.

One of them was not a policeman as far as I understand, but a guy acting in self-defense, which given American law, is completely legitimate.

In the same way, it is certainly legitimate for a policeman to shoot a criminal he deems to be a substantive threat.

>his executive powers which are now being turned over to an authoritarian that may very well dissolve the republic and bring us a dictatorship.
>dictatorship

Listen to yourself for one second.

The problem is in many cases, people are shot over questionable evidence they were ever threatening or cases of the police failing to communicate with people who have mental health issues that can't understand them.

Body cameras have been distributed so that its clear whether or not the suspect was actually being threatening, yet in many shootings these cameras are "lost in the struggle."

People want to disregard the issue because of the race component but it's a far greater issue of the police overstepping.

I was just trying to get a (You) tbqh

Thanks, friend.
