Can anyone come up with an Op idea that will hard counter the cancer that is Ela? I know this board likes to shit on op ideas but i hate how hibana and ela have become a must pick no matter what scenario. I like the idea of having a 1 speed 3 armor Qt 3.14 anchor that can patch hibana holes on the fly. she would have a launcher (like pic related) that shoots foam that hardens quickly and is fairly transparent. her counter would be breach charges, nades, and capitao's fire bolts. I think it would make thermite a stronger choice too, the foam wouldn't be enough to cover that really big fuckin' hole.

"Casual" mode in every games has an hidden mmr that you cannot see unless you use a third party site to look at it

My complaint is that it's 3-0 either way.
There is no competition, just a win or loss decided from the get go.

I don't feel any enjoyment from winning or losing because you can tell who has won the match by how the first round plays out.
I feel like shit stomping on some team that can't keep up and I feel shit getting killed by clan stack when I'm solo

Casual does have MMR, but it's completely independent from the MMR in ranked. If you get matched up against plats and diamonds in casual, then it's either because they haven't played much of casual and thus have a high uncertainty as to who they should be matched up against, or it's because you're actually at that level of MMR in casual but it's likely the former.

Ela's strengths are strong gun, being a 3-speed, and powerful stun grenades.
To counter her having that gun, you could introduce an operator whose ability is to temporally disable defenders from firing their guns. Either via a grenade / mine, an individual target (eg. Jackal), or simply within the operator's vicinity, as in the gadget inhibits any defender within a radius of x meters of the attacker when it's activated.
To counter her being a 3-speed, introduce an operator that slows down targeted defenders with their ability. Razor wire is the generic version of this, making it an operator's special gadget could be done like your foam launcher idea but instead hardens on the feet of defenders who walk into the sprayed area. You could also have it affect all defenders in the proximity of attacker, as the mentioned above.
For the grzmot mines, I've seen repeated suggestions over a long time for IQ to somehow be able disable a gadget she spots on her device. You could also introduce an operator that, similar to Rook armor, gives out equipment which reduces the effectiveness of defender gadgets, such as Ela's mines, Smoke's canisters, or even Pulse's scanner. Since attackers usually start a round spread out, being able to apply this protection remotely may be needed.

What primaries do you guys enjoy using on Fuze, what primary would you want him to have if you could give him one?

I like this idea, maybe limit it to a 5-10m range and give it a 1s "cast" time. Would make playing her so much more fun.

LMG is fun

Pretty much all Year 2 ops and both Navy SEALs since you already have Hibana. Other Year 1 ops vary in effectiveness and may require a specific playstyle to enjoy them, so if you're just looking for consistency with Year 1 ops just stick with Navy SEALs and Hibana.

On many maps you can scan trough the floor or roof to safely destroy gadgets. it's quite powerful.
For remote gadget destruction we have Twitch.

Mira is super fun.

I bought the year 2 pass and it was definitely worth it, Mira quickly became one of my favorite defenders and she's an absolute qt best part is that people tend to suck Frost, Ela, and Caveira cock all day so I can almost always choose her too

What's the ideal ratio of weapon types among a team? 2 AR, 2 shotgun, 1 wildcard? Does it vary between defense and offense?
