goddamn talking to your villagers every hour is so good for getting essence. I've gotten over 10 cute essence today from talking to them, they keep giving me 1 or 2 whenever I ask how they're doing. Once I finish with the tree upgrade I'll be able to build the carousel pretty much immediately.
