The modding community for this game is surprisingly, umm... Mature, I guess?
Literally the only relatively-pervy thing I remember are Waifus from Calamity.
Although I guess that's because it's also kinda small

The modlist is pictured, for clarity.

As usual, it auto-downloads the mods, and crashes on first joining because of how tModLoader is performing with that stuff, but rejoining is ordinarily fine.

The joining area is at an interesting point, but respawning is at the basic area.

I'd say give some waifus different purposes other than just for combat. Maybe slime waifu gains power by absorbing enemy slimes or something.
Make one of them act like a piggy bank that follows you, and you can right-click her to store items in her inventory.
Just some unique, neat shit that isn't just "this one shoots projectiles, and this one bodyslams things".

Have any of the devs said anything about any terraria-related progress? Or has it really just been radio silence for however long it's been?

They occasionally post a new background image or furniture piece on the forums. Makes me suspect the next update is gonna be mostly cosmetic.
