Template matchmaking. It's just that game tries to find 3-5-7 matches and since tier 8 tanks are the most played, they are bottom tier the most often.

you get a lot of free stuff I cant remember everything you get but you do get a free gold crew some premium time some gold/consumables/garage slots and I think you get your first tier 4 for free. Also if you platoon with your referrer you get an xp boost.

It would probably be worth making your account on NA just for tank rewards if you can handle the ping also you can use this
