kinsects lost charging but you are able to hit so rapidly with them now that kinsect only might actually be a viable playstyle with a proper kinsect

Finally beat online Diablos. I hope the actual game is at least as challenging as that. That was fun as hell.

It's pastable. We aren't pros after all, or most of us aren't. We just like to play vidya.

Is it just me or does the LS spirit combo take a lot less meter now? Aside from the roundslash emptying your leftover meter. Seems like as long as I'm above 50% I can get the full combo off.

Any good stream to watch for those wihtout a ps4?

THe last time I played MH was 3 on the Wii and I almost exclusively used bowguns. I want to get back into MH with World but want to get get good with melee weapons this time, what are some of the easier/more fun weapons to learn?

I put better but that's mostly because the control on a lot of the weapons is much smoother and easier to control.

Slightly annoyed that you can't roll into walls to climb them while unsheathed but that's a minor gripe since running auto-sheathes your weapon now.

Is there a way to make the camera not move away and stare at a monster when you first discover it? It's annoying as shit.

It does, at least last I played in 4U, it was almost impossible to get it off even at full meter unless you used the attacks inbetween.

I'll still play it, played hammer for a long time, and then I realized HH is hammer++, never looked back.

After 4-5 attempts I was finally able to take out Diablos.
Expanding pretty much all consumables and about 10 seconds to spare.
That burying attack was extremely annoying.

This is my first MH but I have to say animation work and environments are really good.

Remember to feed your Palico after every quest!

Try the snipe, i think it's stronger.

LBG. I never thought I'd like it but I got a Barroth to headbutt a mine and I've never looked back

It's super easy to play though.

I tried DB and it felt inferior to 4U's incarnation. Sure, demon mode lasts longer and takes less time to enter, but the moves feel less satisfying somehow.

Hammer feels so fucking smooth now, It's almost like a dream

In the final game, hopefully. This has been bothering me since the first gameplay demo and I was hoping they'd have an option like Dragon's Dogma did, but here we are with no option.

Did they reduce the critical range for HBG? I only get orange numbers super close to it.

Playing the MH World Beta, and I've played MH4U, Generations, as well as Tri on the Wii. Why were people so worried about this? Other than the graphics being a bit more realistic, it's same old Monster Hunter. I'm loving it personally.

so who said IG wasn't tonfa-tier now?
its easier to stay in the air with world IG than it is with Z tonfa, you only need to come down once you are out of stamina

I don't think you can. There really is no progress though, just your customization.

Easy to play like every other weapon, yes. Master? No. That is what I'm aiming for picking up any new weapon, and recognizing why certain swings/attack should be used over others in each situation to maximize DPS and keep times down.

most I've seen were people complaining about fps, then some others said the fps was fine.
then there were others saying it was too easy, people found out about rathalos and diablos.
and the rest of the argument about how it was bad now were usually countered.
I think we can rest easy knowing it was a good demo, obviously, doesn't mean the actual game is guaranteed to be great now.
