I always forget you have to keep the last human alive so you can bully them into calling the shuttle.

That was nice, though Cargonia was in bad shape. No surgery beds or even a roller, no surgery equipment and pretty much just guns.

Multiple tactics can be used against Xenos afaik:
>Venting their nest
>Raising temperature to ridiculous degrees
>Laser weaponry
>Proper medical treatment and front rotation
We only had one of those, and my calls that the IAA was dying in the incinerator had to be repeated 5 times before the incinerator was even checked. The Xenos vented their nest themselves eventually, but by that time I was already infected as the last man standing.

If you want to set up Cargonia as a Xenos-fighting base, I'd love to see the following:
>At least one Plasma tank for glorious suicide
>Security cam computer
>One or two emergency crates, opened so that the medbot and floorbot can work
>A surgery table or roller with surgery tools

Otherwise Xenos just overrun. I don't recall ever seeing an effective defense being mounted against Xenos on this server.

This is a good start. Now we need the system that nexis was talking about; to be able to sacrifice animals, mobs, people, etc for religion points to exchange for religious items and abilities would help separate chaplain from needing willing admins to have engaging rounds.

I suppose a paperwork variant for IAA could also be something to think about.

We can't fix crawling. There is nothing wrong with it per se. But it doesn't work with our combat system, we'd have to create a new one if we were to keep crawling.

It's as fast as walking and you evade any projectiles that aren't aimed at you specifically. Crawling when your legs are actually disabled is extremely slow.

Lubeshitters can't rule over the hallways anymore.

They don't.

They have a lower tickrate than us, which means everything is 40 to 66% slower.
This helps them to deal with lags.

Weird glitch that round; randomly became unable to click on module 1 and 2 as borg. An admin fixed it, but it then happened again when the shuttle was arriving but only on mod one.

I'm no programmer but i'm assuming that means functions that might calculate things 10 times a second now only do it 5 times a second?
Couldn't they just increase values to compensate?
Like if the game checks if a mob is bleeding 10 times a second and removes x blood if they, couldn't it just remove 2x blood and only check 5 times a second?

The game in these servers is just set to play slower. Just go to Bay or CM and see how slow you're walking compared to veegee.

To be more precise, a tick when things like a mob life(), a machinery process(), the powernet, atmos, etc, are evaluated.

probably exclude them from that religion's subtlepms and (maybe) put them in an ex-religion category as a second subgroup the admins can subtlepm? only one chaplain means only one ex-chaplain-religion group needed regardless of chosen religion
