I'm glad that we all agree that Strange Journey is the best game.

I like Strange Journey. It was very fun and I'm glad I got to finish it before the remake came out

As a faggot who only got into the series on SMT IV and then played Apocalypse, i want to play SJ next since it sounds pretty fun, is it worth just jumping in on it now or should i keep to my original plan and wait for the remake to come out?

Honestly I think maybe just wait but since we don't have a official release date I have to suggest at least looking into playing the original. Even as someone who really dislikes some of the changes I still plan to buy DSJ day 1. I think both will be worth playing through so you can decide which version you prefer.

I went with STR in DeSu2, mostly because I went with MAG in DeSu since Holy Dance was broken. Just make sure to get Pierce, Piercing Hit, or Holy Strike.

Does everyone know about getting a Sacred Water and Soma before the game starts and skipping Fiends in Nocturne?

I'm following the neutral route pastebin, should I be finishing off my opponents in the Hunter Tournament Prelims or not? Does it effect my alignment in a meaningful way?

The vending machines? Yeah. Not sure on skipping fiends since I always wanted to punch them in the face.

Ok, some fiends like (I think) Matador, Daisoujou and Hell Biker can be skipped. The Riders cannot. Although, It's possible that your level has something to do with it. I don't know about Trumpeter and Harlot since I haven't got to them yet.

Finishing off opponents gives you points towards Chaos.
Do that if you fucked up and the Cynical Man tells you you're in Law.
I'm unsure if sparing them gives points in Law or nothing changes.

Forgot to tell how, when you first get the terrifying demon prompt say yes and when it asks you if you're sure say no.

So should I save the tournament quests until I can check my alignment then?

yea save them to help scewer into the alignment direction that you want to go into. However be careful about going too neutral, there'll be a rather obvious point of no return and past that you'll be bouncing around alignment questions left and right. If you somehow get completely neutral by the time of the choice like i did, then you actually fuck yourself and can choose chaos or law since the final choice will push you off pure neutral. If you're a bit to one of the alignments then you can easily push yourself back over with the same questions.

Are you playing the Maniax Chronicle Edition with Raidou? It recently got an English patch.

Answer yes to a character called Aradia's questions. You'll also fight a Law aligned boss at the bottom of an extra dungeon. If you stop right after fighting it and turn back,
you won't get locked into the TDE.
