I was happy playing Guardian RF last league, I used Rise of the Phoenix + Ruby flask to get 100% fire resist, in order to trigger the Arakali pantheon power.

With RoTP being nerfed, it seems kind of bad. I guess, a real spirit shield with the Leo craft would be better.
There are also some relevant shaper/elder mods, like the 20% increased ES recovery, or max resist on shields.
I can't really recall any other changes being in favour of the build.

You gotta do a map that is under the influence of the Shaper that also has a Memory Fragment in it to trigger the Elder. From there, you gotta collect more Memory Fragments from various maps (they are marked and Zana awards Shaper's Orbs for them.)

Do a shaper influenced t6 to get the war to start and get your first memory fragment. Then get the elder to influence higher maps to get higher fragments for higher shaper orbs.

Defiled Cathedral and Crimson Temple both have the tileset, also pretty good maps

Nothing wrong with skill build, just items. I can do maps but I have problem on some of the bosses. I haven't had a 4+link drop in days so I'm using gear from 30 levels ago with barely any +life or es. DPS is fine, just survivability against bosses.

uniques are literally 99% vendor trash. the vast majority of them is either straight up useless garbage, or only makes sense in some super niche build that has been nerfed into the ground years ago so nobody plays it anymore.

take vaal pact and other leech nodes

read fortify again

i use health, sulphur, stibnite, amethyst and quicksilver
i swap out one of the last two for a diamond sometimes
although this is on a tanky iron reflex pathfinder so might be different for you

Fortify reduces damage taken from hits, it's not necessarily a multiplier of physical reduction, since there can be physical degen for example. lab traps.

8 endurance charges -> take X damage from physical degen
8 endurance charges + Fortify -> still take X damage from physical degen
