Hell his entire arc would have been okay had he just died at the end up it instead of being imprisoned til ToR, or had he died immediately upon release like you’d logically expect. There are no real "enemy" civilians, user. The Empire at its height which is 99% of the time Iden remains loyal to the Empire completely owned almost the entirety of the fucking galaxy. The closet approximation to what you are saying are aliens who were mass-enslaved as slave labor or in perpetual servitude to the Empire and I doubt Iden ever encountered Wookiees, Mon Calamaria, etc...

I'm not arguing about the context of it being her home world, I'm talking about how its surprising and baffling that Iden is unfamiliar with the brutal crackdown methods of the Empire. The snippets of this even before that are foreshadowed when she's partnered with Hask on Endor during the Battle of Endor and not wanting to kill unsuspecting Alliance strike team troops despite Hask urging her onwards. Her character is completely ramrod straight on the moral compass which is entirely awkward and complicated further given the missions her father puts her on routinely and one of her squadmates being a killer like Hask.

Also Iden never officially joined the rebellion/resistance til after Meeko died, it’s explicitly stated that they were affiliated but not part of the Rebels.

Her interactions with the one Moff indicate she's not sheltered when deployed on missions with high ranking Imperial officers who aren't her daddy and aren't afraid to berate her and give less morally ambiguous commands.

So I've been out of SWTOR for 2 ish years. I have no clue what I'm doing or what class is good. I have both an Inquisitor and Agent, with Agent being my main. Are the expac worth it? They seem pretty neat from the art design.

If you mean gameplay I’m lost as the only things you change are who what and where you are shooting, but lore wise it is a pretty tangible difference.
