Mayhem was fun for the first couple hours.

Mayhem really shows that striker's new super is shit compared to original Fist of Havoc. The original had a super large radius, hyper armor and came out instantaneously. But I guess they wanted Nova Bomb to be the only proper shut down super because Warlocks must be good at everything.

All Mayhem's showed me is that a full team of Gunslingers with six-shooter is the greatest cancer this game has ever seen.

Nightstalker is worse.

Sentinel to me seems really fucking wonky, either my shield team wipes or I can throw 5 at a single guy and he will take no damage, and then the shield bash just feels wonky in general

I've made Shaxx cum in his armor enough times to drown an elephant and I'm constantly losing. For me, it's just that the enemy team always has Nightstalkers, Voidwalkers or Gunslingers and my team always has fucking Sentinels and Stormcallers. Literally, why?

I know that Sentinel shield easily withstands a Slam or Hammer throw while the guy takes very little damage.

But knowing bungie nova bomb probably just wipes him away completely.

I swear to god golden gun penetrates it. I feel like I've been killed by a golden gun through one. The warlock nova bomb still kills you if you're too close it I believe, just like in D1 with ward of light.

True, but I've been using a crucible shell on all 3 characters since launch and I barely play in the crucible. Benefits are noticeable on certain shells but they're not so great that you lose out if you pick aesthetics over functionality.

So how does this pvp play out?
I have been playing for a small amount of time and it just seems like people stack teams, gear kinda dictates who wins, hug your teammates to counter the other teams hugging each other, and power weapons just shit all over you.
Does anyone have any tips on how to improve or is this all there is?
