I find myself enjoying New Vegas less every time I replay, because I keep hearing people suck it off and I immediately lose interest after getting to the Strip. Shame because actually getting there is more entertaining than everything that comes after.

desu I am not sure why anyone would replay NV more than 3 times, after you have done the 3 major routes what keeps you going? the combat is fairly shit, so once you've done the quests, interacted with the characters and have seen all there is to see, why go back to it at all?

legion fits new vegas's overall "let go of the past to move into the future" theme the best out of the non-independent factions imo

NCR are failing to let go of the past because they're structured on old-world America and are already suffering all it's old-world flaws, and House is literally a relic from the old-world who wants to shape the world from his old-world perspective

Legion are basing themselves on even older-world than NCR and House, but they are destined to die, possibly bringing the old-world with them and paving the way for the new world in their ashes

Except house has no greater aspirations after Vegas, and with time his mind will continue to degrade into egotistical insanity.
NCR is at least trying to do something more than one city, though they suffer from the same issues as the old world did in the forms of rampant corruption with an authoritarian state in the works.

I like independent Vegas since I can always just headcanon what would happen next.
