P5's story is everyone sitting around until coincidences happen that string then along with literally nothing happening in the middle of the month besides fucking text messages until the story is crammed into a week's worth of forced sleep bookends. It's so transparently structured that it feels like a parody, or an obligation. P5's lifesim and time system were contrived garbage. See the gangster's random ticking clock for an example of how lazy they got with motivations.
