a throw loop is when any character can throw you, walk again into throw range and still be plus frames vs. quickrise. the problem with this is that a throw loop is just an endless series of 50/50's that doesn't really make for an engaging gameplay mechanic.

other street fighter games are irrelevant and were subject to different standards so i'm not going to try to speak to throw loops in any other game but jive. regardless, all characters who had throw loops in S2 of jive are losing them in AE, so it's a moot point.

I really feel like jive just sets the delay to whatever regardless of what the connection is like. Like the developers thought the point of rollback netcode is x input delay always and let rollbacks handle the rest.
I guess it's a matter of opinion but as far as I'm concerned rollbacks should only occur when there's a lag spike.
