Here's a cool attention to detail I found interesting. If you did the revolver treasure hunt with snow active, every clue will be covered in the snow.

The shovel, the empty revolver case, and the two dead men are covered with the snow to imply that the clues have been left around for quite a while. The dead old man with the mutilated face isn't covered with the snow since he's in a small cave, obviously.
