You can already ask or offer to declare war on X, but not asking or offering to declare truce or peace or anything else, which I find odd. But thank you, I'll check that mod out for another playthrough.

And yes, I do know of their history but the Roving Clans are the biggest threat in the planet right now and they need to die

So I just took this 1 population city that Wildwalkers put up in an expand panic.

I think this wins the award for single worst city placement I have ever fucking seen from an AI. And on Serious difficulty no less. Impressive.

>implying
try the exact same location, except one of the exploitations was a ruin

I've seen a city like that before

>tfw i just realized that horatio is ebenezer scrooge
who are his ghosts of christmas past, present, and future?
>inb4 horatio, horatio, and horatio

Updates on the campaign to murder the Roving Jews

Orange: Vaulters (me)
Pink: Roving Jews
Red: Treehuggers
Cyan: Eldritch fucks
Purple: Edgy Mages
Blue: Bad Dragons
Light green: Edgy Rogues
Dark green: Allayi

Continued in next post

hurr forgot screenshot

>Allayi

>everyone that handles money is a Jew
This is the most entry level meme. It should be bannable at this point as proof of being underage.

...

My quest tells me I must go take one of Ardent Mages' cities (Perusk) which was conveniently next to a space Wildwalkers settled in a panic (). So I'm setting up for that in the near future.

Everyone else in the continent is at war with Roving Clans except me. The only ones who went to war with them out of their own accord were Wildwalkers (see how well that turned out for them). I basically bribed everyone else to DoW their ass.

Also, Drakken are Allayi are at each others throats. Ardent Mages and Morgawr are fighting each other. Forgotten are on the way to getting wiped the fuck out.

I'm probably going to sign Truce with Wildwalkers right now and just DoW Roving myself as well to take their northern cities. If it goes well I might just end it for them there.

Amusingly enough, Wildwalkers are completely beaten to a pulp but if I ask them for a truce they are all the way red slider "No way, fag". So I might have to actually bribe them to convince them they should stay alive.

oh, sorry, Wildwalkers AND Forgotten went to war with Roving out of their own accord. I bribed Drakken and Allayi into it. Morgawr and Ardent have no idea who anyone on the left side of the continent is yet, apparently. They're busy fighting each other.

...

t. jew

This is the most entry level meme. It should be bannable at this point as proof of being underage.

pic related, he hasn't had enough apparently.

There's an edited version.

Can't say these guys need more porn because there isn't any in the first place.

You know a slight touch I really love about EL? How there's a main version for every track from the OST, and a slightly muted (or without percussion or another instrument) version for when you're browsing the menus.

It's so nice

there's something very compelling about a race of incredibly arrogant and aloof puffballs that view themselves - and are viewed by the common populace - as angelic servants of a living planet.

Fish? Fish is an entry level meme? Or are they frogs?

prv it fggt

Does the new Humanoids ship designs retroactively apply to humans?

their weird floaty wings look silly

there's little in endless legend that doesn't look silly

They're adorable

THAT'S IT
ENOUGH OF YOUR JEWISH TRICKS THIS ENDS NOW, YOU FUCK

All armies teleporting right next to your capital, fuckboi.

>Scientist party is light blue, the same colour as the science resource and all the science buildings

>Pacifist party is purple, which is not the same colour as the dust resource and the dust buildings which are yellow

TO THE PIT

Kind of strange then that they're preferred victory condition involves fucking off the planet.

fuck you for bringing that to my attention
it won't stop bugging me now

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

If two factions complete a wonder on the same turn, how is it decided who gets to have it and who gets refunded?

FUCK

>inb4 someone makes a mod to fix this

Seemed to be random to me. Or at least one time my game crashed on the turn I finished a wonder, it went to an AI instead of me when I reloaded and then to me again two reloads later.

someone should make it an idea on games2gether and link it here so we can lend our good boy points to it

So I'm deleting a unit prototype in Endless Legend but every turn it keeps popping back up. It's one of the minor faction units. How can I prevent this?

Try playing a better game.

Stellaris isn't really a "better game" than anything so long as it's still so incomplete.

Go away, Wiz.

...

THE CULT OF THE ETERNAL END IS THE BEST FACTION

*kills your villages*

>Horatio ghosts of past present and future visit him
>with all of them, they travel to different times and probabilities
>they conclude that they are beautiful no matter what
>at Christmas eve horatio prime foils and counter-assassinates 3 assassinations by the ghosts

And that's how Horatio made time itself its bitch thus attracting some serious riftpurn pussy

Anyone else have like a cheap cavalry unit on duty always going around picking up pearls after Winter? or is that just me?

Since i have to keep a sizeable standing army so the AI wont DoW me despite having 3x times the production capabilities as it, theres not much else to do for them

Watch me raze your city faggot.

Do you think the new Stellaris patch will be out in January? February?

>Endless Space 2 is currently one step above Stellaris in Steam's top sellers list

Did we do it, bros?

Can only spare money to buy either some Stellaris dlc I'm missing (Utopia, Leviathans) or Endless Space 2, what should I do?

(If you wanna play whatever you recommend 76561198017642833)

Played a few 4x games. Playing a bit of Civ VI lately but the game just gets unfun and feels like a chore toward the end game.
I felt endless legend was a bit more dynamic toward the end but turn times got long and the game seemed to get choppy on my old pc but i've since upgraded.

Should i buy galactic civilizations III or endless space 2?

Buy ES 2, pirate Stellaris DLC

>Buying Paradox DLC
Funny guy

>no wormholes out of my starting constellation

If I give my Synths civilian rights, should I be worried about them migrating to other worlds or otherwise messing up my careful placement?

My core citizens don't have migratory privileges, but I'm not sure if the synths are similarly limited. Should I remove their rights and make them slaves? I'm worried the unhappiness penalty will basically undo the benefit of employing synths in the first place.

Advice?

Sucker!

...

So... Roving Clans just threw a bunch of units at me one by one, instead of just sending them all in a ball and hitting me with it, which might have honestly put me in a bit of a jam during battle.

And then he sallied out of his city to fight me instead of reinforcing, so now he lost his capital.

Is this the power of Serious AI?

If possible I like to have an army of demons or haunts with an Eslek Tarosh going around nabbing pearls and looting ruins.

I hope you're bullying the shit out of those r*ftborn.

Pic related, this is the army I took him down with. One army of 4 and another of 3 as backup. Like 3 of those units were healers.

He threw at me what must have been like 4 stacks worth of units. What.

I mean I did conspire to get all his other neighbors to DoW him, but still. This was very anticlimatic. He's even "Exhausted" now in the diplomacy screen.

Endless Space 2.

Just curious, what holy resource do you guys find yourseves prioritizing when you play as Vaulters? Ideally, at least.

I've been going Titanium the whole game with Titanium technolover units, Glassteel for non-technolover units, and it seems to have been going very well. Science boost seems the most important with these guys

I am loving the changes to the Stellaris Ground Combat mechanics. It's mostly what I wanted with orbital bombardment.

Not sure about this though
"Armageddon: Deals massive damage to armies, buildings and pops. Can turn planets into depopulated Tomb Worlds with enough bombardment. Only available to certain empires such as Purifiers."

I know Base Alpha Delta can literally glass a planet until it's a Tomb in Star Wars but it is even plausible to kill a planet just by firing lasers meant as powerful as an average warship cannon?

So say I recapture a city that belonged to another faction in EL that I'm at peace with. Is there any way without mods to liberate the city to its original owner, or no?

You can trade cities with a certain tech if I remember correctly.

When asking "is something possible", the answer is always Yes, given sufficient velocity and/or sufficient time

>being dumb
tomb worlds in stellaris classify worlds that have been reduced to blasted wreckage with no or few signs of life, and are usually the result of catastrophic nuclear war.
if we can turn earth into a tomb world right now, why can't starships several hundred years into the future?

Drakken and Forgotten now consider themselves "Blood Brothers" with me in our little peace quasi-alliance versus the jew. Pink Roving Clans are basically eating dust now.

Drakken might be getting a little too powerful for my taste though. They're beating hard on the Allayi. Should I let them? Allayi are at peace with me as well, but Envious.

Gang's all here.
Thinking about inviting Wildwalkers once our truce is over. They probably won't want to though because they hate me (Leery)

Should I form an alliance with these folks? The only two problems are that I know Drakken and Allayi are never going to want to be in an alliance together, and I'm not sure if I'd be gifting Drakken Diplo victory by giving them such an alliance...

>1000 star galaxy
>39 advanced AI empires
>5 fallen empires
>x5 habitable worlds
>x5 primitive civilizations
>x5 crisis strength
>high AI aggressiveness
>insane difficulty
>use cheats to watch the galaxy burn safely
>use console command to summon Unbidden as soon as I finish my sentry array
Was this a mistake?

Isn't there a way to spectate the entire galaxy without even playing a faction? I'm pretty sure there's an observer mode.

Only with codes, if I remember right. I tried the same in Europa Universalis with the nep mods, it crashed.

I think you can if you lose. I also wanted to see how long it would take to slowly expand my borders until I can colonize the whole galaxy afterward.

"observe" in the console command

No, apparently you do need a mod for it. In vanilla EL, you can only trade cities if you're at war with that faction and offering a truce.

Really weird, you'd think this would be an option in vanilla

>And on Serious difficulty no less. Impressive.
Endless Legend AI doesn't get better on higher difficulties, it just gives the player more penalties.

Civ V and all its dlcs were on sale for like 12 dollars so I got it.
I have never played a Civ game before in my life. Are there any MUST get mods before I play?
Also what should I expect as a newcomer to the series.

Civ V with all the DLC has a shit ton of content, so learn that first.

>Also what should I expect as a newcomer to the series
It peaked where you are. Don't buy Civ 6. Enjoy.

>what should I expect
Fun. Maybe do the tutorial first (I don't remember if Civ 5 has one) and don't play above Prince difficulty for your first time. No essential mods, just play the game by itself on the first run.

Learning the game is half the fun, and there's a lot to learn. Even where you plop down your first city (and next ones) is a pretty big decision, but don't stress out about it either. You probably won't actively gimp yourself unless you settle on awful tundra plains or desert plains.

Alright, thanks you guys!

Just bought ES2, I see I start with a minor faction pop, is it always like this? Also is the pop random or always the same depending on the major faction you choose?

The entire galaxy formed a federation to stand up to the Unbidden and they've been begging me to join it the entire time. The Vehement wiped out the Unbidden and for some reason they all made migration treaties and started pretending there aren't two doomstack generators still active. A lot of them also decided they hate me for no reason. What the fuck is wrong with the AI?

In your case, that's the tutorial. In general it's randomly possible to start with a minor population, restart if you really don't like that minor population and hope you start with a pure planet.

>allying with drakken, ever
Even the fish are better allies.

Is today another CivVI civ reveal? Yesterday I was sick and watched latest stream with Mongols/Netherlands and the game still looks like shit. Having governors all be the same for each player is idiotic for many reasons. Forward settling is suddenly not really an option. Game still looks like mobile cheap shit and i blame mostly terrain textures and features. Dark/golden ages seemed cool until i learned what it was; it feels like a worse system than the EL empire plans. For golden age you just pick one out of 4 same fucking bonuses, so obviously one of those bonuses will trump all the others. I wasnt planning to buy it anyway.

Now it's literally a mobile game. Also, what did they change about forward settling?

If you settle too far from your sphere of influence you may loose the city due to loyalty system. I guess you can work around it and still forward settle but the discouragement is still there. Think culture flipping from V without requiring massive unhappiness. Also, when in dark/normal age your cities are more likely to flip to neighbors in golden age. And golden/dark ages are steered by either random shit like discovering natural wonders and fiding villages or by less random things like first builds of your special units and structures. It looks like another cumbersome system because all the golden age points past the threshold are wasted so you act against yourself if you earn them still before the era switches. Later in the game you probably will go dark age because you did too many mini quests earlier in the game and cant fulfill golden/normal age threshold, but i can be wrong on that one

The eternal wizposter

>randomly possible
Completely wrong. You can see what minor faction pop each faction starts with with the exception of vodyani and unfallen.

>you may loose the city
For fuck's sake, user.

Wasn't the meta to create a hive of cities as closely packed as possible anyway??

Fuck, i am not a native speaker but to this moment i didnt know this is a mistake

Yes it was in the beginning, but they removed industrial zone stacking so its now much less so. And the stream indicates they changed the civ spawns so theres more room for you to settle, but the maps are small as shit anyway so who cares

Everything

Yeah, it's sadly a common mistake. It's like you're/you, or they're/their/there.
Just be careful, if you talk about a loose person, you'll be misunderstood.

It would probably be easier to explain what isn't wrong with the AI.

>arthropoid
Horatio BTFO

>A lot of them also decided they hate me for no reason.
What does it say when you hover the cursor over the negative relation number?
