Valla, Greymane, Li Ming, and Falstad have been good since pretty much ever.

Illidan comps are still a thing, you just need proper enablers on your team.

Even though he's new I'd also place Malthael in there, since what he does is pretty much always going to be useful unless his numbers get absolutely butchered.

Surprisingly, Raynor. A lot of people meme that he's bad... and you do need to position well with him, but he's long ranged, safe, has a self peel (with optional stun) and he can adequately deal with certain heroes like Ming or Valla, as well as more obnoxious ones like Tracer.

He isn't "the best" but what he is, is remarkably consistent - if you're good. Hyperion is great for pushing, Raiders are good for focusing down carries / supports (they're about a 75% dps increase for 22 seconds if they don't die).

Very high skill floor. Possibly a little undertuned. His highs are very high, his lows are very low. Absurd pve on "bosses".

Does it feel like Ragnaros can help bad teams more to anyone else?
Just provide safe firing support in Molten Core or send a lava wave where the team is failing to cover, Rag holds his own in most 1v1s (except against hypermobile jackasses like Tracer, Genji, or Li Ming), and has incredible waveclear even without Lava Wave.
I can just play the macro game and it feels like I carry a lot of weight.

When you say defend that usually implies everyone. You have to specifically state someone stay on the immortal or the retard damage will not touch it.

Can someone give me a good Azmo build? I got Azmodunk and I love Space Jam, so I wanna git gud at him. I've been using the one Icyveins build but I heard that site sucks. I don't know how good I'll be at the other level one globe quest where you have to last hit, however.

Azmo actually has surprising talent diversity.

Laser build can be used to harass teams without (many) stuns, or be used to aggressively push structures. Taste for blood (requires help stacking - D.Va, jo or kael are great at assisting) or sieging wrath actually do a lot of damage.

Demonic invasion can either be dropped right on structures (with level 20 upgrade you can kill core in like 22 seconds with it) or you can drop them far back in a lane to get some powerful passive push if their team doesnt respond.

This is the typical build, usually people opt into globe at 7, but bound minion is *extremely* powerful currently, so I'd actually recommend it.

Similar to 7 in that it just kind of depends. They're both good at different things but Pool is more versatile in that you're able to waveclear, siege and team fight with it whereas Invasion'll just slam down one lane while you push another.

Battleborn. Just throw unpooled Q's at minion waves to keep them shoving, the range from sieging helps here. Also decent chip/poke on structures.

Usually Forced Retirement for the immense lane pressure, Fifth Circle if you're Q build and feel like your team would benefit from the attack/movement speed slows, Bolt of the Storm if they have something like a Leoric that has been entombing you and... Perishing Flame for more oomph when you drop it on a keep/core.

Ye, as he mentions. If an objective is spawning top you can drop your invasion bot/mid, throw a Q at the wave then D a melee minion with Bound and they'll shove to keep or core. Just a bit of an underwhelming team fight presence if you go invasion and bound so keep comp/flow of the game in mind.

Thanks for the detailed analysis, friend. Do you have any strategies for Azmo? I've noticed that I try to splitpush but I prioritize any teamfighting
(except on Haunted Mines if they're fighting in the mines and I have the entire surface to myself) that breaks out and my siege damage ends up a little lower than I would like.

Bound Minion is actually ridiculous with the new changes

In a nutshell you just want to be pressing multiple lanes/places simultaneously. Top shrine spawning on Infernal? Rotate from bot to mid, drop your D bot, spam W and autos mid and throw your Q top.

Often you'll want to group just long enough to win/lose but always have your D somewhere, ideally where it'll go uncontested. Bot lane when the second objective spawns on Foundry for instance.

In other words, it doesn't ever work past plat because people are not retarded enough to never rotate and waveclear, and you're essentially a 4v5 in teamfights because non-black-pooled Qs do jack shit damage let alone if you throw them with a 3s delay

Bound Minion can get value sure, especially post minion changes, but when it does it means the other team is so shit you would have won with full Q build anyway

I'd say closer to around Diamond II.

Sitting middle of diamond and I can tell you FULL PUSHMODAN still can show results, but not on every map. It shines like a star on Battlefield of Eternity and Infernal Shrines, but isn't really worth thinking about on Dragon Shire, for example.

How do you play Hanzo to actually contribute to your team? I've had him in my games before but I've never noticed him do anything unless he throws out the dragon, which does 0 damage, or gets the finishing blow with his stun.

Depends Q is the way to go unless you got an Aba on the enemy team. W talents should be for clearing waves. Make use of your wall jump to get them at different angles. As for the ult the Stun is usually better unless they are all forced in a spot. Just make sure you don't make it obvious.

You have an on demand shield, natural resistance to abilities, and mad cc and mobility. It requires some finesse but anub is very strong.

Literally one of the best escapes in the game in the form of Burrow Charge. Stop using it as an entry, it's an exit.

The W build isn't strictly speaking bad, it's a late game powerhouse (that 16 talent is preposterous on top of the others), but I would absolutely not take it against ETC as he can kick you right out of the heal field..
