Are you telling me you installed the 1.4.22 version of AO on CoC 1.5? That's not how mods work. If you want weapon mods and stuff just play CoC 1.4.22.

If it gave the same error you weren't on 1.4.22. Double check that you have the coc patches.

1.5 does have some pretty nice things if you check the changelog, but the full release isn't out yet and who knows how long that will take.

Personally I had the stalker bundle in my library for 7-8 years before actually playing it.

So I'm starting stalker for the first time and seeing that chronological order is Clear Sky, Shadows of Chernobyl, and finally call of pripyat. The most agreed upon play order is to go through SoC, then CS, and finally CoP. I'll go through with no mods unless it's just bug fixes for my first time, but will the story make sense to me even if I play them out of order?

what do you mean out of order? play them in the order that they were released like any sane person does
