DH will give you the most damage, Crit is more like a utility meld because it will also affect your shields. I don't play anymore, but I melded mostly Crit with DH on the pieces I had that were capped on Crit. I felt Crit would be more helpful progressing through fights, the damage increase from full DH melds is not too big. Full DH isn't going to turn you into a DPS monster, that's like 99% dependent on your own skill and the group you are playing with. It will push you past someone that doesn't have DH melds assuming all other factors are close to equal. It really comes down to preference. I wouldn't bother melding other stuff, maybe SpS if you like playing with a little lower gcd/faster cast time and need to hit a breakpoint. Don't bother with melding Det imo.

Every time you are not doing damage that substat is not contributing anything. I've also had instaces where i've not hit a DH with a stone/broil cast even with like 10 DH6 melds which just makes me feel shit.

DH is a tricky stat, either you fully meld DH or you don't because not melding everything barely gives you DH procs so you have to commit to the stat.

Personally i prefer crit builds as it works for both dps and healing. After crit either det or ss are fine.
