Do any of you ethereum kids even know how to read code? Have fun with the Golem bug lmfao.
>Vitalik surely knows what he's doing, r-right guys...? His decision to exclude checksums and key validation from ethereum was a good one, right guys...?

Explain user, I want to laugh at eth babies some more

...

Ethereum doesn't natively validate user input for private keys, so it's up to the exchanges to do it (yet another retarded design decision by Vitalik). Basically someone from the Golem team accidentally left out some characters at the end of their key, submitted their transaction and the value of their key was automatically "fixed" by ethereum which caused their transaction amount to be magnified many times over. Luckily the transaction amount was shifted to be such a massive number that the exchange didn't have enough money to fill the transaction and caused an error.

Basically the exchange could have gotten completely fucking drained. Ethereum devs literally had to send a warning to all exchanges to make sure they validate user input on their end LMAO.

>Muh ethereum is the next facebook

You are a fucking moron. BTC crashed hard multiple times. And many people were on suicide watch during those times. Stay delusional.

Wow software has a bug

Doesn't even matter at this point. Look how much crap bitcoin when through all these years. Still hitting new highs. Eth isn't going anywhere.
