I used a work around.

I already had a verified profile on another well-known exchange and just bought it there before transferring it. The reason I did this is that C-CEX's deposit options all had either important fees or felt really scammy (I'm looking at you Payeer).

Use coinbase or kraken to buy btc, transfer to an exchange and buy the coin. I would wait till it dips though pretty high atm.
