I've played Nocturne before but I fucked up my first playthrough by failing to prioritize physical attacks for the mc.

Full MAG with fire and ice spells is probably optimal, but full STR works well too. Choose whichever you prefer.

Probably. Mine goes 50-60 frames pretty consistently but in places with a lot of activity it goes down to 30. Not unbearable but after spending a lot of time in the game it gets slightly on your nerves.

Not really, Mara is genuinle meant to be symbolic.

Mara, being a penis, is meant to represent one of the most universal temptations humans face, sex. The chariot is also symbolic of other temptations. The chariot is gold for example to represent the temptation of wealth. The skull symbol and spikes at the front are obviously symbolic of death and violence. The pun is definitely an aspect but not the sole aspect
