Guys what gold portraits do you respect from most to least and why?

Pretty much sums up Hearthstone. It's only fun if you win, and how the reward structure is set up encourages this.

For example, I love playing homebrew decks against friends, but in the back of my mind I'm thinking I'm missing out on gold because I'm not playing ranked.

Dude's such a hard worker, he's built up his stream from sheer effort. I think he streamed every day in 2017? If I had to do that I'd probably jump, fuck that.

Whenever I see golden portraits I just think that they've played the most degenerate decks to get there for some of the classes. eg.

Hunter: Undertaker
Paladin: Secret Paladin
Priest: Virgin detected
Shaman: Midrange Shaman
Warrior: Pirate Warrior

So in terms of respect: Warlock, Mage, Rogue, Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Shaman, Warrior, Priest (in that order)

Why are people trading with my fucking Raven Familiar? I'm fucking flashing you the Flamestrike, I'm a late game deck. Why are you trading? I ranked up like 7 times playing the fucking preconstructed deck because of this.

I don't think it's oppressive just yet, no. And besides, it takes a long time to get golden portraits, and I doubt people got golden warlocks from playing cubelock only. I think more back to the days of handlock, malylock, renolock etc. I used to play those decks and they were such great decks.

You guys are so short sighted. Just because it's good now doesn't mean it's always been cancer. Go back to Un'Goro meta and tell me if you respect people who still played warlock.

Well yes, aggro is best for climbing and farming portraits, it is known.

I think what we are learning here is that respect should be based off what decks you used to get golden portraits, not the classes themselves.

True nobody has grinded a golden portrait with cubelock yet. But within a year or two it'll 100% happen.

I got the mage golden portrait by playing almost exclusively kazakus dragon mage, kazakus mage, and currently thicc control mage.
