Ali Ibn Abi Talib, rightful caliph? Was his right to leadership stolen by Abu Bakr during Saqifa?

Ali Ibn Abi Talib, rightful caliph? Was his right to leadership stolen by Abu Bakr during Saqifa?

No.

Hereditary rule is a man-made idea and the true leader of the Ummah should be decided by the Ummah, unless of course Allah himself directly intervenes.

Who fucking cares?

Like 90% of the Muslim population cares so stfu

Democracy is a man-made idea, hereditary rule is much more natural

Saqifa was essentially a coup. Abu Bakr was pushed to take leadership by a handful of "elders", while Ali (a credible candidate) was washing the body of Muhammad. Abu Bakr had assumed the pulpit in the prophets mosque through a completely undemocratic process. It was a tactical assumption of power, through a haze of shock and confusion over Muhammads death.

>caring about a devil-worshippers opinion
Not even once.

You're half right, democracy is indeed a man made idea. But nonetheless this does not mean hereditary rule isn't. The point of the caliph is to be righteous and having him be chosen from among the Ummah by the Ummah is a better way of doing this, at least the best way available to men as the true best way would be to be appointed by Allah as Muhammad was.

>natural

stupid fucking sand niggers that's who
fuck off back to the desert apu
you decrepit dirty wizard

So the Caliph isn't chosen by Allah?
Prefer the Catholic way desu

No Khalifa in islamic history was chosen democratically. It was corrupt from day 1 don't fall for false Sunni rhetoric. Abu Bakr - Uthman chose eachother.

Ali was the only one chosen by the people as the 4th caliph.

Then it became dynasties.

Ali was BASED

Clearly not on the count that it eventually degenerated into a hereditary honorific anyway.

>Prefer the Catholic way desu
Honestly the papacy is probably even more politicized than the caliphate was. Especially when the caliphate actually existed.

Undoubtedly but I would rather the College of Cardinals choose the Pope rather than the fickle masses

Ultimately all positions of power are empowered by the fickle masses. If the masses ceased to believe in Catholicism the entire church up to the papacy would be as vestigial as Zoroastrians.

And the fickle masses are directed by those in power. Life truly is a circle

Ali is literally the incarnation of GOD onto the world
t. Alevi

He was the rightful fourth Caliph. Not only did he not contest the dominion of the three caliphs before him, he named some of his children after them. The idea that him and his future progeny would have an unbroken line of religious leadership is farfetched and disrespectful to the legacy of him and his kin.

>incarnation of ALLAH was defeated in battle and martyred
What are you, some kind of Christian Munafiq?

As an ex-Sunni Muslim, this.

If Ali actually was the rightful caliph, then Allah would have intervened like he always has. Read as well

Either Muhammad appointed him, or implied that he was the best candidate. Ultimately, he seems to have consented, albeit begrudgingly to the rule of the previous three Caliphs. He had multiple chances to take the position by force, but chose not to. I think Zaidi Shia are closest to the truth in this regard.

sword of Allah, messenger of Allah, chosen of Allah, rightful leader of the faithful, but not the actual INCARNATION of God. Not Christians.

The majority of the Muslim population is Sunni and not bothered by what a minority of believers feel is an indignation. It has no theological effect.

this

Ali was a based fighter and warrior, muhammed was a weak cuck that got BTFO by a fever.

Jibreel talked to the wrong guy, sunni mudshits can go fuck themselves.
