"Dude, what if we all worked together?"

>"Dude, what if we all worked together?"
>hailed as some political genius

What was so original about his work?

You should read Marx first, before making a thread about him

>Only brings up Marx's cummunist "side"
>Doesn't mention his view and dissection on capitalism.

And that's how we know you haven't read any of his work.

>there are problems with things

Oh wow thanks for pointing that out genius!

Yes, he was a genius.

This!
> I have lots of opinions on how capitalism is bad
> shows flaws in system
> offers literally NO ideas on how to fix them
>creates a political stratigy which is literally antithetical to human nature
> "government leaders in power will totally give it all up for the good of the people"
> "everyone will work hard dispite having to reward for doing so"
> "resources gained from "work" is dependent on how many children you have instead of how skilled you are in your labor
Ohkay

There is only one way for you to find out, and that is by reading what he wrote, or at least the important parts of it. Man was a genius if there ever was one. But his ideas caused experiments that were the very opposite of what he or any political philosopher wanted, methinks.

There is a difference between knowing there is a problem and being able to examine and offer an explanation. That is the difference between intelligent men like Marx and idiots like you and your snarky fellows in here.

Nothing.

He was a lunatic just like every single person who agrees with him.

>its a someone confused marx with lenin episode

>creates a political stratigy which is literally antithetical to human nature
That isn't true, humans have a natural tendency towards peace within and between communities. We have spent most of our time as a species in groups. History shows by the necessity of these groups in our survival that collective societies are our more dominant tradition.

He is a towering figure in German Philosophy. Influenced mainly by Hegel, but also Kant, Bruno, Feuerbach. But he broke the mold so hard that the political elite kicked him out of Germany.
So he went to France and hung out with some French anarchists and socialist thinkers right after one of the French Revolutions. Then he became a political refugee again and went to London where he lived in poverty and studied Adam Smith and English political economy.

He was like Shakespeare in that he brought the esoteric to the common man, without soiling it.

Marx was also a good economist. Seriously.

>Marx was also a good economist. Seriously.
For his time.

Source that shit. Humans like most other great apes are extremely brutal.

He was the first person to accurately describe how the economic system of the European world worked in the C19th.

Apes travel in troupes for security.

Pretty much this.

>> "everyone will work hard dispite having to reward for doing so"

>implying this isn't the basis for capitalism

>implying people in capitalism are paid according to how much they make, not according to how difficult they are to replace

And they rip each other apart if they get out of line.

They don't often kill each other. They could kill a human but if apes fight members of the family it isn't to the death. Humans are smart and we have a judicial review process.

>family

Don't weasel around, what about when males fight for domination?

It isn't often that they pull out a rival male's face or rip out his testicles. Phew.

>humans are naturally selfish and evil!!
That's an argument against free market if anything. There have to be some sort of concordance and cooperation in order for it to work. Even pro-capitalists can see cutthroat economics is lunacy.

Marx does not just go poopoo on capitalism. It has flaws but it's the best shit on the block. For now. And hopefully it will be superseded by something better.

>The gorillas and the common chimpanzee live in family groups of around five to ten individuals, although much larger groups are sometimes noted. Chimpanzees live in larger groups that break up into smaller groups when fruit becomes less available. When small groups of female chimpanzees go off in separate directions to forage for fruit, the dominant males can no longer control them and the females often mate with other subordinate males. In contrast, groups of gorillas stay together regardless of the availability of fruit. When fruit is hard to find, they resort to eating leaves and shoots. Because gorilla groups stay together, the male is able to monopolize the females in his group. This fact is related to gorillas' greater sexual dimorphism than chimpanzees'. In both chimpanzees and gorillas, the groups include at least one dominant male, and females leave the group at maturity.

Apes fight occasionally but their nature is to be peaceful and when necessary become violent. This is all within the confines of a collective group. Being part of a social community is important to even our most distant relatives that travel in groups, many mammals and all apes will experience severe mental degradation when denied social contact and some even die from their isolation. It is very well understood that being part of a collective is encoded into our DNA, scientists can even estimate the number of apes in of a subject ape's family unit from the size of the brain.
