>tfw not sure what to buy next on the asset store

Don't buy anything, it's all going to be marked deprecated when 2018 gets released.

Why did you make a new thread. If agdg is down for 24 hours then rotate will come back, or so the legend says.

Buy everything, it will help you make your game.

Too many god damn windows, He 111 H-2?

Spitfire + Terrain shenanigans next

Working on the tutorial dungeon boss.

His name is King Tutorialkhamun.

i do mostly orchestral music if anyone is looking to colab. i'm currently working on a few game soundtracks and i'm always looking for more work, send me an email if you're interested.

I'll think about that if I ever get around to making an R18 version.

I'm sure you can think of a better name than that.

I thought it was cute~

Whatt do you guys think about this body?
(pic contains nudes)

i'm a nodev right now but this is some good shit.

Rdein?

are you on track for release in 2020?

Without following a bunch of randos and praying, how the fuck do you build up a Tumblr blog? Consistent progress posts with 5-20 hashtags isn't getting me shit.

y even pretend with the boobs. Embrace the cone

I'm on track to think about starting in 2020.

When creating a level in UE4 should i create the models in Blend and export to UE or should i create the models right in UE4 itself?
im new to 3D game dev

I'm also a nodev, but just wanted to say that that's some very good stuff, man.

make them in blender/maya/whatever, and if possible they should be modular assets so you can build levels like legos

go memepoly and use the csg tools

new demo when?

What's your favorite head and hands boss?

how the fuck do I handle animation of two objects that have some bones that match up and other bones that don't
the non-matching bones aren't used for animation but for physics

I've tried connecting them both to the same animation but I don't think I can get an animation to control two armatures at once
do I need to have a single armature and connect both meshes to it?

I keep trying to google solutions but I've found nothing that'll help
I'm using unity

Probably won't be any more demos at this rate.

No, he does not visit Veeky Forums. Also, he no longer works on 3D momo

Ok, thank you. does this apply to everything though? like what if i just needed a cube with a texture on it

They're all the same. Pick something else.

>No, he does not visit Veeky Forums.
He did at some point during momo4 actually.
I asked because it reminded me of this a bit.
he's working on a new 3D game that isn't momo.

its always a hands n face boss never a thighs and midriff

I want to defeat a thighs boss by fucking them.

>He did at some point during momo4 actually.
and got triggered so hard, also kept depression posting

He's gonna Tutanfuckyouup with his big hands.
Hmm, there's an idea.

>this page is still up
momodora4.tumblr.com/

Parodius did this, I think.

>thighs try to crush you
>you have to triangulate the boss' weak point from the locations of the thighs and midriff

>he's working on a new 3D game that isn't momo.
No, I\ve asked few days ago, he is no longer working on 3D project.

He is working on another 2d platformer.

Co-op sidescrolling beatemup that won't have tiny screen sprites with pixelmeme graphics.
How many players should there be: 2, 3 or 4?

4 seems like a standard of co-op games nowadays, but seems like it'd get cluttered.

>He is working on another 2d platformer.
The models and levels are all 3d

How is this proportion wise? Should I make the legs smaller? or can i get away with this.

Also msot of my "knowledge" and gaming things is more from the graphical design point of gaming should I be hereor look for a drawing general perhaps if we have any of those

never forget

Is that the guy who was making the Cave Story clone that went into dev hell and got salty whenever people made the comparison?

What did he meme by this and why did it trigger momo?

vine was too pure a girl for this community

Depends on your base screen size really. You mention no "pixelmeme graphics" so it sounds like you're not going with sprites. Honestly I'd say 2 for co-op story mode, 4 for the versus mode. Maybe allow the player to go 4 player for co-op but put up a small message saying "hey this is recommended for 1-2 players otherwise you're not going to be able to make out jack shit".

the gwyn game had a girl with a bow and arrow and sword, rdein replied to him saying he's blatantly ripping him off because his platformer is the only one allowed to feature girls with a bow and arrow and sword

everyone laughed, he cried and pulled a phil fish and still continues to this day to remind everyone he has depression

>announcing blocks
>getting into twitter slapfights
>can't handle bantz
he wasn't gonna make with that kinda attitude. I hope he unfucks himself and gets back into the saddle eventually.

...

>the gwyn game had a girl with a bow and arrow and sword

Shit combination, should've been a pair of guns and a sword

It looks like you need to learn how to draw. Go to /ic/ or something. Read your Loomis.

Idk I'm still practicing art and it seems like it will take a while before I'm able to make decent assets for it.

>>>loomis meme
I only need to know if these proportions are passable, Im not looking to make hyper realistic art
loomis doesnt apply to videogames even, unless youre going for the realism meme

This, go to /ic/ for advice about drawing and proportions your not going to get amazing advice here about that stuff. Especially when like 75% of the devs here have mspaint tier drawing :^)

I solved a problem rdein wass having in his game once and instead of thanking me in the credits he thanked me on skype(where i helped him) by blocking me

God I hate orchestral music in video games. Personal shit opinion though, don't mind me.

alright ill do that. it seems like a shitshow of a board though but then again I lurk in /v/

thanks

>I only need to know if these proportions are passable
they are not, notably from the waist down

mario galaxy tho cmon bruh

Tiddied gf body, how it looks, of course the breast size is customizable.

You're a bloody idiot and you deserve the fact that everything you ever make graphically will look like shit.

too late for that :^)

Yea but it's obvious you don't even understand the basics of drawing and that's something Loomis teaches you.

I don't mind elements of it in the music but if it's the whole soundtrack, it just seems pretentious

no they're not passable sorry. they don't look like they have a "style" they just look poorly drawn

thanks for the feedback, Ill swap to making pixelated shit like everyone else

>pixelart is easy meme

>thinking you don't need Loomis to do good pixel art
LOL you just don't have a fucking clue do you? Must be nice to be that dumb.

oh wow a 10 pixel face how difficult and unique
surely it doesnt resemble any of thousands of other pixelgames out there

I've definitely heard some forgettable orchestrated soundtracks, but the best ones almost always stick in my head far more than traditional game OSTs.

I mean, how can you hate this shit?:
youtube.com/watch?v=UxZMPvMADWI
One of my all-time favorite themes in any game.

Then there's some that aren't completely "orchestrated", of course.
youtube.com/watch?v=a_gEATNuTRo
youtube.com/watch?v=O4FdfaRX8EM
youtube.com/watch?v=KYSvX6uLC0Q

tfw using ms paint tier art and calling it my "style" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

oh wow drawing a torso and legs in pleasing proportions how difficult and unique

post progress

get ignored

Do you think an MMO could have a feel/pace like the town area in this video, at the very start? youtube.com/watch?v=odAeEqQTIrU

What has always bothered me with WoW and similar games, is the scale and pace of everything. The wide 3rd person view camera "demands" the world to be big too, which in turn makes the scale of the world just absurd. But in that video the hero is closer to the camera and moves slower in the world too. Would millennial players have to patience for something like that? Could they appreciate it?

its a nice aereoplane I guess
if you are the furry then go fuck yourself

You never played Ragnarok Online, did you?

>he's not hopping onto the card game roguelite bandwagon
Why?

>The wide 3rd person view camera "demands" the world to be big too
i was going to suggest a narrower fov but then the video made me cringe

Just asking out of curiosity? No, I haven't. But how is that relevant?

I'm talking about a modern 3D game here.

>the gwyn game
what game?

>But how is that relevant?
MMO areas are huge for a reason, otherwise you end up with this shit.

I disagree. Your picture seems to show a highly populated town, which is nice. But I guess the speech bubbles (?) are the problem here? Well, that's easy to fix: camera zoom and/or way to only see relevant bubbles.

But I still don't really understand what you are getting at here. I'm simply thinking about the size and pace of game worlds. In many MMOs players are feel to jump and bounce and whatever, something which (I feel) breaks the illusion (of whatever the game is trying to convey).

If I could, I'd try making an MMO that was more casual and slow paced (atmosphere wise, not necessarily in combat) than what WoW and similar games represent. But I'm not sure if that's what players actually want.

progress on my VR viking builder

haha fun

neat. very impressive, but if you are not going to implement some raping and pillaging you may as well just delete the source code now

>shoulders, traps, arms, forearms all a single entity
>tits, ribcage, midriff, hips all a single entity
>thighs, shins horrifically, unappealingly drawn
>ankles, feet, heel, toes all a single entity
yeah, i'd say you're just severely lacking in understanding basic anatomy, because you're too new at drawing. the clothing just helps you hide your weaknesses.
and it doesn't matter if you're drawing flat lolis with zero muscle definition; having that underlying understanding will elevate your drawings above mediocrity.

proportions is the wrong thing to be asking about right now, because it's practically irrelevant at your current level. it'll matter more when you actually have a "style" defined for yourself/the game, and what kind of body type/age/whatever you want your character to have.

@203349047
>clothing hides a weakness

>ask for feedback on proportions
>get bait posts about irrelevant shit

nice to see us helping each other
go back to making your shitty pixelsprites

The proportions are really fucking shit man. I'm not sure what you want people to tell you. Honestly how can you look at those legs and think "this is passable at least"

People here tend to be pretty toxic, and I don't like it either. But to be honest, this is the amateur GAME dev general, and your 4th grader tier drawing simply doesn't belong here.

This. Art isn't game dev and never will be.

>I'm not sure what you want people to tell you
I wanted people to answer the fucking question
"the legs are to short" the "arms are too narrow" thats called feedback

not "the toes are one unified thing" like what the fuck, it should be obvious to even a complete retard that the feet are a placeholder and not an actual part, besides it isnt part of the question

jesus christ man

we had the same shit last thread

More Loomis

the legs are too short

well I cant delete my post anymore but ill remember it for future questions.

the legs are too long

>first learn to draw and then 5-10 years later come back

gamedev is fun

The porridge is too hot

Do you do everything solo?
Isnt it difficult to make everything yourself?
Or is teamwork a negative factor that would slow down production of your game

arms are too wide
