At least based on the four first chapters, there's a fair bit of it.
Also, the initial loading time of the save takes almost a minute, but in return you get almost constant 60FPS performance, which is admittedly really impressive. At least the loading times between the fights and the environment are relatively short.

The premise is basic enough, the 2D character art looks fine, the voice acting is decent enough. The basic gameplay is... well, very basic, you just go through simple dungeons and battle like Tales of Hearts R's mind dungeons, but the battle system is far from Hearts R's perfection. For example, jumping is done with pressing both X and O, unless you remap the controls yourself. There's no real feeling of impact when hitting enemies, you just charge them and evade at times. They clearly copied Tales mechanics, but somehow missed something vital to make it feel the same.
I definitely think it's not really as bad as many people say, although I'm really miffed by the fact they didn't bother to include PS TV support and the game defaults into the dub, which means hearing a lower quality version of the intro video when you boot up the game. After you change the dialogue language and wait for a while in the title screen, you get the intro video with the proper audio quality. Makes me wonder why the hell did they even have the lesser quality version in there, since it's the same regardless of the audio language, just with worse quality when the world's biggest dub is enabled.

Nope, only makes your stats worse and you can't identify stuff. Or use skills if I remember correctly. Plus even if you have the bra that make you flat the bathing scenes will still be big boobed version.
