How does hp scale in solo/multiplayer? Is there a difference when 2 players are there compared to 3/4?

I just KO'd a Jyuratodus with lance. Not with the shield bash but with the leaping thrust (O during guard dash). How the fug did that happen?

Not great? I've been playing solo LBG since the start of world and I havent had problems downing monsters with plenty of time to spare and I'm well into HR now

I didn't say you can't. You can solo the entire game with any weapon. LBG usually ends up at the bottom along with HH for damage in almost every single MH game.

I think I found out why I never see anyone using HH. It's slow as hell and by the time you swing at the monster it's already moved so you miss and end up wide open...

I'm just shit posting, I just suck at using slow weapons and need to get gud.

Mining his body gives random drops. Make sure to ignore fagigante during the quest as he'll actually go away on his own. Mine away dude.

It has a couple of tricks, mostly relating to how you use your mines and bludgeoning monsters to death for the KO

I don't understand the appeal of SnS at this point unless you really love constant bombing. If you just want fast attacks DB do it better, guarding is done better by the lance/gunlance/cb and ko is done better by hammer and cb. Not hating or anything, you guys keep using it if you enjoy it I just need someone to explain what the draw is.

Stick to the monster like hot glue, aim for the legs to trip if you can't reach the weak spots and remember you can use your slinger while unsheathed.

Yes but instead of farming for optional relics you farm for parts required to upgrade your gear, it's like Zeniths are Relics.

What's a good hr armor set for spear and shield?

Pick hammer its same hit and run style but still high power.
If you want to go completely the other way go lance/gunlance both have high power but you have a shield.
Until you work out lots of back hop and counter then a small amounts of normal blocking is really the best way to play because you become a unstoppable monster who can stay right under a monster forever.

When you shoot ammo like sleep/poison, do you inflict the status faster if you hit the head or does it not matter?
