How? It's one of the easiest fights in the game. Super telegraphed moves, slow, the only thing that does damage (tail spin) can be negated entirely by cutting off the tail or using your eyes to see it preparing the move. I just had three sessions where someone triple carts and I get dicked over.

Trying to get good with LS and I am a fucking brainlet apparently because I am no good with this weapon that is supposed to braindead (my main is DB which is a true easy unga bunga weapon).

I'm doing that HZD quest over and over because it's suited for practice (very easy and low stakes since it's almost impossible to cart or fail, can practice reacting to Tzitzi), but it takes forever to build up to helm breaking

I have, six times. LR Rathian 14 times total (I hunted it during expeditions about seven times before it became available in quests because I wanted the Rathian set).

Kinsect Line doesn't matter. Just get that speed up so it can hit the monster faster, and give you triple up faster. That's the only thing the Kinsect is good for.

Whenever you have red juice or triple up, 2x triangle then circle is your best bet. Especially when the monster is downed.

Another tip. STOP FUCKING JUMPING SO MUCH YOU GOD DAMN IG USERS. ONLY FUCKING JUMP WHEN YOU KNOW THE MONSTER IS RECOVERING FROM A MOVE/MOUNT IS IMMINENT. I'm not directing that towards you, but just towards new IG players who think it's so OP just because they can stay in the air, then complain about getting swatted out of the air because they suck and never get the juices or use the ground combos.

I'm hosting Nergigante Investigations with double gold rewards with the condition of 15 minutes and 2 carts. Did it 4 times with randoms no problem.

That is, until a dude named "VG" joined using the long sword and carted twice TWO INVESTIGATIONS IN A ROW.

If you are still HR 14 doing the story trying to do hard investigations, using a weapon that trips literally everyone else in the party, and you cart twice: do not join a second time.

If you still die to Nergigante in any form: go practice solo and don't join online.

If you can't be bothered to use ironskin potions/bring a health booster/buffs: don't play online

Whoever this was from here, please rethink playing this game and don't join other people's lobbies. You are not good and you should practice more before going online.

Break (in order): tail, head, wings, back.
When mounting always stab it in the back, don't bother with the head/tail area. Makes the fight quick, and gives more options for materials.
