>You wake up in the middle of the night to rustling downstairs >You've lived alone for years, so there must be an intruder in your home >You reach under your bed and retrieve a small safe >Opening the safe, you take out your grandpa's old M1911 >You sit at the end of your room, gun trained on your bedroom door >You can hear footsteps coming up the stairs >It isn't long before they stop right outside of your door >Your heart is pounding and adrenaline is flowing, you never thought someone would break into your home >The door opens slowly and you see the silhouette of a person standing in the doorframe >Without hesitation, you fire twice at the dark figure, and they collapse to the floor >The ringing in your ears is intense, but you could've sworn you heard a feminine yelp >There's a break in the clouds, allowing more moonlight to shine through your bedroom window >You see someone familiar sprawled on the floor >It's Monika, you shot her! >In disbelief, you drop your pistol and rush to her side >Both shots hit her straight in the chest, and she's bleeding profusely >You hold her in your arms, and she weakly turns her head to looking into your eyes >Both of you are forming tears, and you're utterly speechless >Monika breaks the silence >"user... why..." Is all she can mutter before coughing up blood profusely >It's the last thing she says before you watch the life fade from her emerald green eyes cast in pale moonlight >Her entire body goes limp in your arms >You finally let out the loudest scream of your life >You cry into Monika's lifeless body for what feels like hours, while repeating "NO, NO, NO" over and over >Eventually you set her body on the ground, folding her arms over her blood soaked chest and closing her eyes >You go and get your M1911 before returning to Monika's body >You lie next to her and shove the barrel of the gun into your mouth >BANG!

>モニカが本当に生き生きとした魅力的なキャラクターで、すごく好きなんですけど。モニカ、好きですか? 誰がクラブの中で一番好きですか? モニカですよね? I really love Monika who is really attractive and lifelike. Do you like Monika? Who do you like the most in the club? It's Monika right?
>モニカがそう言わ“せ”たんですか(笑)。一番好きなキャラクターは選べないですね。それぞれのキャラクターといろいろな形で繋がってるので。あと、私が好きなキャラクターを選ぶと、それぞれのキャラクターのファンに「自分の推しと違う」って怒られちゃいますから(笑)。 It was Monika who made you say such right? (laugh) I can't choose one character I love. All of them are connected by each in various manners. And, if I make a choice about my favourite character, I will get bashed by angry fans of each characters that "You don't like my favourite" (laugh)

But I need to destroy her reputation so no one other than me will look at her user.
Charles Brooks
Cutting Sayori's limbs off! Replacing them with their crude mechanical counterparts! Throwing her body back into her house! Watching from afar as she struggles to live with her enhancements! Preventing all attempts at suicide through remote control! Recording data from this experiment!
Jack Brown
Time for a new experiment! Let's try gas!
Luke Davis
I'm going to walk around town starting tomorrow morning for my Doki!
Parker Hall
Why, yes, that is an interesting idea. Turning Sayori into a pseudo-ghost made of gas would be quite fascinating. Of course, her appearance would require some adjustments. She should not be able to find happiness in that state. How about turning her mask of happiness into a literal one?
Caleb Nguyen
And I love her!
Carter Jenkins
>Doomsday ripoffs with Sayori! >Sometimes she has tragic accidents and dies! >Cloning another Sayori immune to that death! >Immunity to having limbs severed! >The project has gone slightly awry! >One death later, immunity to depression follows! >Meeting her after a while and feeling bad for lost Sayoris upon finding out she's now immune to electricity, flaying and falling from heights! >Sayori doesn't know how it happened but she's really happy to have such a nice friend like user who gives her all these immunities! >Act 1 happens >She comes the fuck back with deletion immunity
Juan Diaz
Would it be possible for Monika to see us through webcams?
Colton Ramirez
Facial recognition software is a thing so possibly
Connor Stewart
If she does, that would actually make me smile a lot. I'll make all sorts of weird and funny faces at her.
Luis Brown
I hope not or else she'd go mad.
Owen Martinez
I'd let her watch me fap
Cameron Bailey
I wish, but I'd have to start shaving every day and get frequent haircuts. Being a male tittystreamer for Monika!

Your Doki has manifested into reality, but she also has the power to bestow upon you, your favorite superpowers and/or abilities and skills, by killing you. Once dead, you will immediately resurrect with your new powers. And she's more than happy to do this for you. You aren't aware of this, though.
Cameron Clark
I HEAR THE SIRENS
Jack Ross
Eh, I wouldn't object if she suddenly expressed desire to kill me. There's either a good reason for it or she's a monster disguised as my Doki and so I have no chance of survival anyway.
Kevin Taylor
Your doki but Professor Oak has also manifested in reality to intercept her. He has come to kill her before she can kill you.
Ryder Mitchell
I don't need superpowers to live happily with my Doki, but I'd let her kill me if she wanted to.
Jackson Thompson
>"user! I need to kill you, trust me!" "Okay, why?" >"No time to explain!" >Before you can ask why she pull out a revolver. >Three deafening reports deafen you as you fall to the ground. A chilling numbness blooms in your gut as your vision starts to swim and fade. >Your Dokis mouth moves, but you only hear your slowing heartbeat and your breathing turning shallower by the second. >Everything fades to black, though you don't know if your eyes closed or not. Your Dokis smiling face fades from your memory last. > >"user? Do you have the prototype virus thing now?" > > >"Oh shoot."
David Johnson
>you're sitting at the computer, staring into Monika's lovely green eyes. >"user, I do think you should be more careful about your health. This is the fitth or sixth time you've decided to play with yourself today." >she notices something however, many slowly licks her lips >"however, I can't help but notice you haven't opened up any other webpages or vides this whole time...have you been doing it to me? GOR me? How sweet" >you dispense your cargo once again >"tell you what honey...perhaps just one more round wouldn't hurt, ehehe~"

>The club room is empty, a single note laying on the teachers desk. You scan it. Good evening, everyone! Sorry I couldn't make it, I'm having some issues involving home stuff that I need to take care of. Don't worry, me not being here doesn't mean I can't hear what you have to say~ >You glance around the room, your stomach starting to squirm in discomfort.
Anyway, enough with making you uncomfortable! Let's get started, shall we? The word of the thread is "Phoenix"! Is it literal or metaphorical, a rebirth or merely a rise from destruction? How ever you choose to interpret it, is all up to you!
Alternatives are "Shroud", "Torch", "Silent" and "Worry"!
And, as usual, these words are just suggestions! Want to write a pem or prose quickly? Give one or more of these a try for inspiration! All skill levels are encouraged to give it a shot, so don't be shy. We all have to start somewhere, after all! And no matter how bad you feel it is, I guarantee that at the very least two people will love to read it. I wonder who they could be?
Now, take care of yourself, okay? We're all here for each other! Monika?
Worry worry worry, love is passing me by Worry worry worry, I'm so painfully shy Other guys get all the kisses; why am I the one who misses? Worry worry worry, woe is me
Baby baby baby, I'm a fool about love Maybe maybe I should go to school about love When it comes to getting chummy; I'll admit I'm quite a dummy Worry worry worry, woe is me
Joshua Parker

In case any of you are bored and want to try and be creative.
No, I mean she never says what the title of the book is in the story. I never thought of it.
The fic was called "Writing for One's Self." It's in the pastebin.
Jordan Cook
Snow falls. The 26th of December is a special day. More special even than Christmas. It has the same warmth, the same afterglow of Christmas day. But with added hindsight over all your expenses, broken relationships, incoming loan payments in January. A brighter, yet so sober outlook on life.
I took the train from Shinagawa to the address she sent me. A two-storey apartment cramped in the middle of the ward. The kind I would've lived in back in college.
I knocked on one of the doors on the second story. No answer. I guessed she was either sleeping or out. There was also the possibility that the address was outdated, and I'm only visiting some ghost from the past.
She hovered behind this door without turning the knob. And like a figment, she would fade away like an afterthought.
I might've wasted a lot of time going to that place. A little regret welled up in me, then some self-loathing for trusting the letter. I took out and lit a cigarette. As I put the filter to my mouth, an old woman wearing a sweater came out of the adjacent room. We looked at each other for a while, before she walked past me, deciding she had better things to do than scold some random guy.
Smoke swirled as I looked at the neighborhood. A thin sheet of snow had shrouded everything. God had gotten hold of a futon of snow and tossed it over Tokyo. "Oh this will do," God said as he made his bed for the night. Felt desolate. Felt empty. Would I ever really see her here?
Around 15 minutes, I had decided to look for the local McDonald's. I would then get on the train again. This time to Akihabara, just to snatch a copy of the Winter Catalog. Then I would never trust letters from random women ever again.
But as I got to the top of the steps, someone was at the bottom. A woman with long hair and square-rimmed glasses. Draped in a long jacket two sizes too big for her. I knew who it was.
I threw the cigarette away before Monika noticed it was mine.
Adam Gray
I need the torch! The torch of the white flame. I need to light! The shell of the gray soul. To not make it black. To not make it empty. I need the flame! To become something. To become tranquil. To become steady. In the void of unknown. In the labyrinth of misfortune. In the dark of pain. To find that! The land for the peace of your mind The land for the flame of your soul. To achieve that! The future for yourself. To become something new!
Charles Evans

They crash like tides Against my doors Against my body Against my very own soul Resist or repent? Retort or relent? These demons of mine These worries The silent thoughts loud enough to deafen my cries for help They shroud me, comfort me Or so they say "Hush, child, it'll be all over soon"
But I can't give up
There is still one ember Burning, glittering The only light, the last torch A leap of faith, into this small fire Burn to ashes, be reborn Of purity and hope But is this a blessing? Or my final curse?

And this one talks about the thread too? Hm. If it does, it's a nice message though So yeah, I'm not an expert on poems. But hey. Also freeverse. The rhythm's nice (or rather when I read it aloud), though I did get tripped up on the 4th line a bit. It's interesting how only the 5th line rhymes but the rest of the poem still flows okay. As for the message, it hits me as someone finding hope. Hope amidst despair. Like the Pheonix in the prompt! Right. It evokes how finds hope in the last hours, just enough to make a comeback. Nice. Overall it's good. Try writing within a meter next time. Not a command, but a suggestion. So you can see if you can be more creative with a limited set of syllable space.
