The final crab also has like 95-99% special defense modifier that can't be removed and can't be modified by itself, so even I'd you stacked defense mods to reduce its defense by 100% it would just be a defense modifier of 90-98% essentially.
That's why static damage is so necessary for the quest. The most infamous team is basically just Waver + Jeanne + Tamamo all worth static damage CE, bit angra mainyu is also a meme servant for that quest because his NP damage is static.

Every final challenge quest that appears is meant to be one of the hardest quests yet because of the obvious power creep over time.
