mednafen, the retroarch fork is especially good because it can do upscaling and has a vulkan renderer that runs really fast.

No clue but it worked pretty well for the AC games I played vs playing them on the PS2.
Using a PSP if you have one works too.

Mednafen. But beware the lack of GUI without a third party application.
You can set it up relatively easy with Retroarch though.

Probably Mednafen, like the other buddies said. I got ePSXe to work, and it runs pretty well, but only after a lot of trial and error, troubleshooting and frustration.
