Chang'e was stated in Silent Sinner in Blue to be married to Hou Yi, as is in the Myth. In Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom, Junko's profile states that her grudge is actually with Chang'e's Husband for killing her son, but since that matter has been settled, her rage stands on it's own.

Junko's character is based on a Chinese Empress, Chun Hu, wife of the Xia Dynasty emperor Hou Yi. (Historically, only a small number of historians claim that the Sun-shootign Hou Yi from the Myth and Emperor Hou Yi are the same person, but a detail like that wouldn't stop ZUN, and things like that get conflated in the 2huverse because of metaphysics besides). These two facts together result in the aforementioned summary of Junko's grudge.

Related to that point, games are a sore suitable format for showing off danmaku, so even when it is in comics the treatment is cursory. Think about the fan comics you've seen with danmaku fights in them. How many of them were were hard to follow? It's easy to compose them poorly and turn the page into a clusterfuck of balls, lines, and scribbles.

SSiB did it really nicely, and Grimoire of Marisa also had some danmaku drawings.

SSiB made it nicely and I'm sure there are other tricks to implement danmaku into drawn pages like bird point of view when there's too much danmaku and using different angles might do the job. But I was asking mainly because I find it weird that spellcards where introduced for youkai to fight yet are never shown outside of incidents. At least the spin off games like GFW, ISC and the Aya games kinda expand a bit on that.
