I reinstalled a month or so ago and every time I hope on there are 1-7 people in the PvP queue, spread across all tiers.

Look at some other free games, like DOTA. No grind, the grind and constantly fighting for resources just to unlock new units or upgrades isn't what keeps people playing. It's the ranking and emergent gameplay.

i never liked the IS (thought the good old KV-1s was my favorite tank), decided to buy it and grind for the T-10 when they anounced the obj 257, unlocked the IS-3 in less than 3 days, but the grind for the 122mm made me gave up.
then i decided to do a hell grinding cuz i went fishing yesterday and the rng said "fuck you" so no fish for a whole day of trying time

I've been grinding the comet here and there all week for a comfy 2-5k exp per match, with prem and boosters. I'll probably finish it tonight.

I literally wont play without prem and boosters active anymore unless I'm platooning fun tanks, or doing advances / cw etc.

thats what I get for the average 4k damage game on NA

no prem time for me , was using only the 100% exp ones and 200% crew for 1 hour, the queue time kill their eff

my average 1.3k exp games today were pretty much like this. its like theres no tier 8 and 7 in the server anymore

I've been doing my grind with prem time active, a 100-300% exp booster, 50% credit booster, and 50-300% freexp booster.

Makes it way, way less punishing. I've also only had like 30s queues so I've done 80k exp in like 3 days.

Someone with a good grasp of game mechanics and useful map positions can pull off 60%+ solo WR in relatively balanced tanks as long as they're paying attention. It's actually a very low bar to set but I think you need to find a balance between trying hard and having some fun.

I hate tier 8.
It's by far the worst tier.
Grinding out the modules for a tier 8 tank takes more XP than the tank itself took to unlock.
It takes fucking forever to unlock tier 9 from it.
The matchmaking is absolutely punishing because you're shit on by tier 9 and 10's constantly.
Absolutely the least fun tier.
And it's the one you end up having to play the most games in by far because of the retarded XP requirements and the tech tree.

stb1 was never meta, gun handling ruined it's potential dpm, more so now that 30b is a thing.

50b was never never not meta, but it's not particularly strong either, outside of limited circumstances in cw.

meta is always shifting. if you want a tank just get it. it'll eventually bounce around.

i never had an autoloader, only play russian tanks cause competitiveness. i thought amx 50b is the best of the 3, best gun characteristics besides the dpm on t57 but its mobility makes up for it. i think i would really enjoy it, i just dont want to GRIND FOR MY LIFE. fuck wg, gimme a discount on something for playing all this time at least, sheeesh
