He's a total fucking douchebag in the books and not as idealized and goodwilled as he is in the game.

That's part of why i think the tv series will be an interesting watch; How Geralt is portrayed. I feel like Geralt had to be changed to be successful in the video game medium. Likewise, I can't see that emo weirdo being 1-to-1 represented in tv series as he was in the books.
