Yeah, basically. When you play ranked basically it's meant to be your main gameplay mode. People that climb to master+ typically play 200-500 games per season.

I'm not master, I don't deserve Master and if I ever get Master, it means that this game's system is heavily flawed. I'm super garbage at this game. Getting to diamond doesn't get me a mount, so if I'm playing HL it'll just be for the sake of playing, not grinding.

That's totally fine. You get better by playing. If you played 200-300 games every season (2-3 games per day usually) then you would improve no doubt regardless of how bad you are currently. Even just casually playing 1-2 games of ranked per day you'd definately increase your skillset over time.

Keep at it though, even if you don't get to masters, ranked is how the game is intended to be played so your match quality will likely be better than in QM even if you factor in trolls and shit.

If you don't play at least 200 games per season you will never climb. If you do and don't climb, it's because you aren't learning or improving at all.
