No. I think he's a solid character in S3 with his consistency buffs and his great v-skill buff, but he'll literally never break past mid tier as he doesn't have anything to open up people holding downback. You don't even have to worry about his forward throw anymore as his throw loop is gone and at midscreen you're -1 from a forward dash so you don't get anything real from it. S3 buffs also didn't make any of his problem matchups any easier really.

So if Blanka gonna be charge character there is big chance that Falke gonna be a normal character. I hoping she wont be Ed function with stick or rekka character (rolento functuion)

Why didn't Cooler get into FighterZ? I love the Frieza race design, but hate Friza's obnoxious delusions of grandeur. He's even worse in Super where he gets bopped left and right yet still acts like he's almighty constantly and doesn't even try to dodge attacks that KO him. Cooler is much more well-written and composed as a character, and he has cooler attacks, forms, and dialogue than Frieza.

VT2 has a lot of advantages over VT1, but VT1 is still superior in certain matchups. I use VT1 against Guile, Abigail, Cammy, and Mika right now.

Why is G dressed like Q?

So a throw loop is when a character lands a throw on you, then has a setup that allows them to force a 50/50 between a throw and a button by being at frame advantage when you're recovering from the ground (you can only do quickrise from throws). If I land a throw from that situation I can just keep doing the setup (for Ed it was literally just forward throw > forward dash) and mixing up between throw and button until you guess right. Lots of characters had them and they were kinda bullshit so I'm glad they're gone but it's sad to lose one of Ed's strongest corner pressure tools.

As for Ed's bad matchups, he really struggles against anyone who can outzone and downback him as he has a very honest approach that's easy to deal with. Guile, Ryu, Nash, and Sim are probably the worst in my opinion. Although weirdly he does beat FANG despite him being a zoner.
