Speaking of Jagras and augment, what's the recommended augment choices for it? Wouldn't it be best to put 3 atk augment for the non elemental boost, or that skill doesn't affect the true raw bonus from augment?

People are mixed on it, people think Affinity is the only way, but I believe attack is all that matters because you have weakness exploit and enough attack skills to be above 80% aff at all times.

Sorry, thanks for the answers. I'll keep those in a note. Currently I'm LR so I'm still using Bone arms, Diablos chest and KO charm for Slugger. I don't even know how well it actually works, it doesn't seem like it does.

gharon dhara with element boost still falls flat to nerg because you have like 100 less raw, even accountin for crit and sharpness multipliers

the best general lance is perdition's hand (nerg T8) but there are niche cases where certain elemental lances (kirin) can do a good job too.

Jagras isn't best GS, Vaal gets higher damage with handicraft. It's 2% better in fact after all skills and augments.

I mean, it has Attack up (XL) and definitely does the most damage on its own but if you actually want to give your teammates other buffs then Nerg is the only one with Earplugs (L) and Xeno has a whole bunch of good buffs available including reduced stamina use

What HR set is a good start for GL?

Depends what you are going to use in the gem slots honestly. Augmenting for raw on it would give it 205 true raw which is the same as augmenting once on the Jawblade. Jawblade only has 1 3 slotter though but looks a hell of a lot cooler than Jagras Hacker.

No, Vaal is definitely better than Jagras.
3 augments vs 1 augment bring them on the exact same raw, elementless is only a 10% boost vs white sharpness being a 12% boost. 2% more is more than whatever one single gem slot can do. not to mention Vaal gets some minor dragon attack on top.

You can't encounter more than one Elder on a map until literally the latest point of endgame, and even then the Elder's Recess is the only place two or more of them can meet.

HH doesn't really need anything special. Just stack as much attack/crit as you can and gem in Horn Maestro if you have space
