Crouch to stand up peaking is legit. That's how I get half my Mira kills.

Crouch strafing though is slow. Not as bad as walk peaking, but still will get you some half the time.

I put like 1 or 2 in garunteed entry/rush spots but I usually save 2 for firefights. If you find someone and don't kill them outright chucking a mine at them and waiting for it to go off is a guaranteed kill.

you get 2 ops when you get the starter, 1 attack and 1 defense, so they might be forced to pick recruit if someone takes their op (you also get 600 r6 credits for 2 more ops but a lot of people probably spend it on other shit)
as for basic you probably have 4+ ops by that point
