I barely consider her one because throughout the game she isn't as big a deal as other post boys were in other FF games, she's pretty much in the background while Sazh, Snow, Vaniele, and Hope have their drama.

The gear actually seems pretty good, not sure why no one is mentioning it. The accessories let any female unit make everyone immune to status ailments. This basically clears up a slot if you don't want to bring ilias/marie. The sun one has like 3 immunities to status for males, I think that's useful depending on the fight

Everyone got him from an event so people might think he's alright, he's not that bad anyway. Also they a;; got a free 5* armour for him.

FFRK, I'm thinking of getting everyone but Machina to 50 and then 65 and so on, since I almost ran out of characters with SBs to get to 80. Should I start with the cores? FFI and work my way up? Or what? I already have all the MC1 and 2 anyway.

That's only for empower/dampen, every other passive can be inherited just fine.
