Just started playing a few weeks ago and I've been using hunter to make some money, just hit 83 recently. Should I use dragon imps or chins to make money, seems like chins are more stable and give exp, but dragon imps can potentially be more profit. Any advice for going for dragon imps?

MMOs were always shit. In the old days there weren't many other online games to socialize in and shit so MMOs were good. These days there is a game for everything that was fun in an MMO. Mobas replace pvp. Skilling is replaced by actual simulators. Pvm is replaced by RPGs with coop elements.
All osrs has is nostalgia. And hopefully also mobile support soon.

I'm eventually going to diversify my money making methods, it's just a start and for some reason I do enjoy hunter. I'd like to get access to the hunting grounds, but some of the requirements are going to take a bit of time for me.

It was pretty fast to level initially I thought, I hit 83 in about a little over a week, thinking of getting it to 99 just because I never had a 99.

Set it as a goal.

Short, medium and long term goals are important if you don't want to burn out. So if you want to do hunter maybe set your long term goal as 99, your short term as 85 within the week or whatever and your medium term goal as unlocking the diary. Make one step toward unlocking the area every day that you play and you'll have it in no time.

Remember that 83 is only 23% of the xp you need to hit 99
