Legendary Ike isn't an alt (at least not until Hero FE10 Ike comes out), and Brave Ike resulted from the poll. Neither FE9 nor FE10 Ike has actually gotten a single "Special Hero" alt.
Eirika's nonsensical alt caused a shitstorm because it set a the precedent for characters getting non-limited alts for no reason at any time.

No, people were anal because she had a normal non-seasonal alt, and people were complaining because she got "Knoll's tome". Meanwhile Zelgius had boosted BST, a prf special and a prf B skill to go with his prf Distant Counter weapon. Lucina and Roy were second place in CYL and they didn't even get that.

Fates is my favorite FE game in the series and I actually like the story. But Lilith being stuck in fish form is the biggest waste of potential in the entire game. I just want to be able to romance her and have Kana with her.
