The problem wasn't 4U itself, even tho 4Ubabbies can be quite annoying.
It was specific to this general.
The regulars were a bunch of chink azn spergy shitters, constantly flinging shit at each other.
They had no sense of humor whatsoever and most importantly never, ever played MH games with other players, autistically soloing everything and arguing about how playing multi is inferior (in a series distinguished for multiplayer co-op by japs in trains going to and back to work/school, the irony).
You're thinking of the MHP3/FU/3U community, especially P3bros, wich left these generals many years ago.

If you think Nergigante is a pain you are not going to have a good time with the actual Elder dragons.

Also his set is just "Aight". It's great for general use but if you want to focus on a build you might have to tweak it a bit.

When MH4U lobbies were a thing this general wasn't as old.
Unless you fell asleep immediately post MH4U release, or you have very selective memory, you would've noticed the general becoming solocentric and incredibly spergy/angry at everything.

Literally doesn't happen, or you haven't played 3U/4U to realize how bad it was back in the day.
In this game the only thing that fucks you up are HBGers.
Also some hammer/SA lifting you but you can just attack while you're coming back down so it's not as much of a big deal.

Had, actually. I melded the other 2 since you can only need one gem and you can reuse them over and over so long you save the slotted gem in one of your armor sets.

Then you're pretty much lying.
Tripping in this game flat out isn't a thing.
While in the middle of 90% of any attack animations i never get tripped, only 2 things disrupt my gameplay: HBGs blowing me the fuck away, or SA/Hammer lifting me.
You only really get tripped in this game if you're not attacking and near the center of the action, if you're in any way attacking, between attack animations and such, you won't be tripped.
I've actually tested this intentionally since the beta, they basically fixed tripping in this game, it's a non-issue.

Specifically i asked a friend of mine to use LS on me while i attacked, specifically focusing on tripping me, and we tried multiple times and nothing happened as long as i kept attacking.
