The normal guns are easily the best, but the Flash Shot is fine, too. The really shitty ones are the Egg Gun and the close combat weapons. The other weapon types aren't too fun, either.

Because Crash is trash.

The Egg Gun was nice because every one of Eggman's robots dropped one so you basically never ran out of ammo. Same with that one alien gun that shot purple circles out.

The bazookas were shit because you had to aim and it's impossible to do with slippery controls. The non gun weapons were also bad because everything else in the game has guns and you could never get close or if you did you just wound up running into them because Shadow slides all over the place

This is ultimately why I can't stand Forces. I hope they never pandering to anyone from the fanbase next game and just make new shit again. It's the gameplay that needs attention, which only applies to Sonic Team here. But afterwards, all the Sonic games to be Unleashed 2. Effort, new locations, creative. All just without any forced gimmick.

I thought it was kind of fun except for the boss fights. Those are awful except for the final boss. Everything else was okay though. The story was actually pretty good, especially for a Sonic game. The soundtrack is also great. It's not a bad game but it's very hard to play after getting used to the Boost games.

But Colors actually plays without motion controls. Infinitely better. And I said I didn't like the game much, because Unleashed and Gens are vastly superior. Really Sonic games on Nintendo's hardware were always worse then tech before it I've realized. Genesis to GBA, Saturn to Gamecube, Wii to PS3/Xbox, and WiiU/Switch to PS4/XB1.
