Most of them are fairly gear-independent, and the gear set depends on your playstyle as much if not more as on your weapon. If you don't know what gear you should use yet, you don't need that, learn get a feel for weapons first.

Yeah... You should avoid playing with any blasters, they're way too easy to use, destroying team without any skill and anons like getting mad, i understand them, i hate those weapons too and even dualies are frustrating to play against

It's not a "viable" set, it's a "fun" set. It has all the tools and potential to work really well, but it takes more effort than a comparable weapon with crutchy offensive kit to do so.
Luneo is geared towards defensive play, as
opposed to most other blasters. Don't be stupid, assume control and let the enemy fall into your traps. Make them check every corner.
