I quite like Asuka so far. She has some really nice counterhit stuff, ok lows, reversal, a launch throw and she can get 115 damage out of a RD which is insane. I don't consider her unga though, but it could be jut because I don't like playing aggressively.

yes but how exactly. with other rushdown characters it can be explained how they are rushdown. for example Josie is "unga" because she has strings into free mixup and df4 into free mixup and annoying lows but whenever people mention Asuka being "unga" it's always just "she's unga because she just is"

Asuka has a number of safe launchers and hard hitting pokes that not only rarely give up her turn but she has a number of moves like cancan, parry, B3, and other bullshit moves that can steal turns back. You then have the insanity that with rage drive she can mount a comeback of 100+ health extremely easily.

While league of losers is a pretty shit moba, I used to play a few. The most hype and top tier teams always go for fights and ganks super early on. then again I haven't played any moba for about 4 years so things could have changed drastically. It's just unfortunate that people, even pros, are too scared to gank and fight so early. Maybe it really is that weak, I dunno. I personally believe it isn't though.

Why did the developers of Tekken make strings so strong at the noob level.

You either have to block, no the exact point to push a button, duck or step. And too many strings have enough push back if you let them complete that you can't even punish.

It feels so low iq letting some idiot mash a string because you don't know the exact punish for it.

VF5 and Soul Calibur are much funner too play because strings are not a strong at a low level.

tekken devs literally don't care about low level play. they'd probably reply something like: "gettu goodu baka gaijin" if you complained to them.

Things hard for me in Tekken 7:
-thinking i can be about two characters sace away and sidestep stuff on reaction
-leaning that certain moves are better stepped in one direction than another
-learning to deal with the iscrete tracking on seemingly linear moves
-punishing, even if it's jus ta 1,2 punish
-realizing that I have to actually maintain a stable distance between me and my opponent toactually whiff punish and gode them into doing stuff instead just backing away and tryin to step stuff
-recognizing strings
-blocking strings
-realizing you can't just block and wait it out in general

Yeah in Tekken you have to stay proactive. Unlike other games you cannot rest on your laurels, turtle, or go on autopilot. You always have to keep posturing and maintaining position because in just a few mistakes you can die.
