Wald is pretty imposing but he's really big. If you get in you can do pretty good damage as most of his moves have significant wind-up.

I'd advise you against getting the touhou game unless it's under $8. It's really not a fun game after the first 20 minutes and only has about 3 hours of content.

Do you guys think its a good idea for me to buy another Vita? I have the old 1k version and since they stop making them I want to be prepared in case my 1k one dies since I have a shit ton of vita games to play.

See, that's the issue. It's 21:26 now for me. I usually stay up till a midnight or so. which might be even before you finish your classes or work.
It just happens that people who own the game are far away from each other. When I wake up and look at the thread, I see a 2nd round of games about 4-5 AM for me. I missed out on most of dragon's crown because of that.

I don't think she's that bad. How large is the gap between your scores? Maybe they don't want to play you because of the difference in skill level? You know combos pretty well and look like you know what you're doing. Plus, you can't see the opponent's character when matching ranked. I on the other hand spam projectiles and frustrate people to get repeat matches because people think "That's bullshit, there's no fucking way that's fair. Let me try again and be smart about this this time. Zoning can't be THAT good."

I was the same color as them (orange) so roughly the same skill level according to the game. It wasn't like the games were a stomp, but I did win before going into orange health. Since it's ranked I do take it more seriously though and don't risk too much if I don't need to.
I'm still terrible at reaching zoners so I'm hoping more go online so I can practice

I've actually been using a few different combos online depending on the amount of meter I have, the distance from the wall, and the confirmation of some attacks. They all start off similarly though as its the most reliable way to initiate despite also being the most dangerous, with other ways being safer but increasingly situational. I'll try some different ones though as I need some anti-air junk too.

Most of the time lag would mess things up since Mika loves air combos and juggling. You have to interrupt at the very beginning during the command grab or hope the inputs get messed up. She doesn't have a projectile at all so she relies on a lot of movement to rush down and pressure but the areas she'll move to and the moves she'll use against you are pretty predictable.
I actually thought she was the easiest UNIST to use starting out but since its release I've only seen people say she's unwieldy and I've yet to see another Mika too
Just keep in mind that stray command grabs can be tech'd out of.
