Both, Elemental Bows don't benefit from DP and Raw Bows can build into Crit Draw DP for the memes.
Sacs are just shitty drop rates in general, try the tailrider safari or the argosy captain.

Is one better than the other in practice? I don't mean autistic min-maxing, I just mean in play style.

It seems like you'd go diablow/vaal bow and just crit-draw the ENTIRE fight right? That seems kinda boring and suboptimal for solo play.

They both play kind of similar which is weird, mostly sustained quick damage with fast movement and then hard hitting moves when you get the opening. Also great mounting weapons and shield comes in handy (even though obviously Lance has a better shield)

Both, depending on the matchup. Build Diablos for monsters like Bazel who are super prone to DP spam, otherwise you want elemental (Tobi, Legiana, Anja).

This is probably one of the two that he didn't make super terrible.
It's still pretty terrible though

Crit Draw DP is a meme niche build, if that doesn't sound appealing to you then do not bother with it. Elemental Bows are stronger but it takes more sets to have ~3-4 bows all set up.
