The xeno stuff isn't bad, it just has to compete with the Vaal and Nergi stuff for Dragon element and the Blos and arena stuff is better for Raw in most cases.

That's not the issue.
If a horse ran into a wall at full force it would stop and/or turn around before it even hit. The fact that the monster just keeps running is stupid as hell. Make it turn around or stop.
Same thing with cliffs; if a monster runs towards a cliff it should either stop or turn around, not just magically keep running full force in place.
It just looks so stupid. And the real bullshit hitbox is when you're standing at its side while the monster is doing this and still get hit. There cannot be any force behind the run logically because if there were the monster would conk its head or run straight off the cliff.

How fucking new are you to MH? Monster wall sliding has always been a thing, and gets even fancier with shit like b.diablos in the arena. The solution is to know it exists and not back yourself into a corner. Last thing I want is a monster doing a fucking backflip off a wall with continued momentum, or do some Brachydios pivot shit, or cut their animation short. Do better.
