Apocrypha is well animated. You casuals can't handle a little animator idiosyncrasy, that's all. The show's approach to animation is no different from the likes of Birdy Decode, Yozakura Quartet, or Mob Psycho where the animators are given freedom to animate in their own style. I'll admit Apocrypha's production schedule was a little rushed so some bits look unpolished but overall it's one of the more well-made Type Moon anime.
